Ainokura Village with “Gassho” houses

Yes. That’s my finger but wanted to include this local fixing his porch roof. It used to take two days to reroof the pitched roof of a house with thirty local men pitching in. The town is aging so takes weeks with fewer. Fortunately it’s a World Heritage site so some outside help.
