The walk in was longer than expected and the number of sites to see amazing. Tourism has dropped off so not as crowded as Machu Picchu or Ephesus. But many horse carts, donkeys, camels, cats and dogs–as well as humans–at this ancient Nabatean Kingdom capital with its vast burial caves fronted with carvings, gradually washing away since soft rock.
