In searching for the creative district of Saigon, went out to Thao Dien Ward, Distrct 2 and found the Ho Chi Min Contemporary Art Museum, albeit closed. Then stumbled upon this a Snap Cafe with accommodations for kids and adults plus very cool stores. So happy to see this kernel of eccentricity.
Above is out of order and taken after the pooch was positioned for the ride. They drove around the corner then he came running back…with her running close behind.
We were so happy to have the above Bitexco tower next to the hotel. Easy to find
home. Below under construction next to Ho Chi Min Museum and don’t know the architect or purpose–but cool.
Brown nipping dog dancing around poor laughing boy and his Maltese. Uncle Ho with dumbbells. Mother not thrilled but he was proud of this tourist taking a picture.
She is not Muslim. Her germ mask is black with matching sunglasses. Another closed museum led to a zoo visit. The elephants did not have enough space, here talking through a fence.
From the bar atop our neighboring high-rise. Below the oft seen family of four on a scooter. Kids never get helmets–they are too hot and uncomfortable we were told.
Not sure if clear that the above is a puppy.
Below is an amazing hotel, Myst, designed by a hot Vietnamese architect. Next trip.

Cool buildings. Nice views. I like the colorful staircase, reminds me of the High Line entrance.
